KINGS of MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes. 306-283 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 15.42 g, 3h). Ephesos mint. Struck circa 301-295 BC. Nike, blowing trumpet and holding stylis, standing left on prow of galley left / Poseidon Pelagaios standing left, preparing to throw trident; monograms flanking. Newell –; HGC 3, 1012a. Rough surfaces. Near VF. Extremely rare, none in CoinArchives nor acsearch.

Although this issue is unrecorded, it is almost certainly an issue of Ephesos. The monogram to the inner right appears on later issues of Amphipolis, but as a secondary monogram, while the monogram to the inner left is the primary monogram on all recorded issues of this type at Ephesos.
