ROMAN GLASS. Roman. 3rd - 4th centuries AD. (10.5 cm tall x 9.5 cm diameter). A mold formed oval flask with a pressed honey comb pattern and flattened foot. The squat neck that extends from the shoulder terminates in a rounded lip, again seemingly molded into form. Heavy earthen patina over dark green glass. Intact. A very heavy piece.
