Decentius. Caesar, AD 350/1-353. Æ (19.5mm, 3.98 g, 7h). Contemporary imitation. Copying an official 1st officina issue of the Lugdunum (Lyon) mint, struck under Magnentius, early AD 351-August 352. Bareheaded and cuirassed bust right / Two Victories standing vis-à-vis, holding between them a wreath inscribed VOT/ V/ MVLT/ X in four lines; SP//RPLG•. Cf. RIC VIII 139 (for prototype); cf. Bastien 181 (same); Lyon –. Dark brown-green patina. EF. Copying a rare issue. A well executed contemporary imitation with only some minor reverse legend errors.
