Divus Septimius Severus. Died AD 211. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 3.24 g, 6h). Consecration issue . Rome mint. Struck under Caracalla, AD 211. Bare head right / Garlanded funeral pyre surmounted by facing quadriga. RIC IV 191F (Caracalla); RSC 89; Dow, ACTTB, p. 273 (this coin). Toned, some minor porosity, small flan crack. Near EF.
