Domitian. AD 81-96. Æ Quadrans (19.5mm, 2.63 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 86. Draped bust of Ceres right / Bundle of four grain ears and three poppies; S C in field. RIC II.1 502a (R3). Green patina, some porosity. VF. Carradice and Buttrey knew of only one specimen at the time they revised the second edition of RIC II.1 in 2007. Four other examples in CoinArchives. Likely the sixth known. Extremely rare.
