Irregular and crude legend in three lines within wreath / Crossed palm fronds; irregular and crude legend around, L IΔ (date) in legend. Meshorer 342e; Hendin 6376b; RPC I 4970; Dow, ACTTB, p. 153 (this coin). Red-brown surfaces, edge flaws. Near VF. Both Meshorer and Hendin note several types with crude and irregular legends, however, this coin is of a significantly worse style than those plated in either reference. This may be a local imitation.
