PHOENICIA, Arados. Circa 138/7-44/3 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 12.74 g, 12h). Dated CY 199 (61/0 BC). Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche right / Nike standing left, holding aphlaston and palm frond; Θ(koppa)P (date), Phoenician Q, and AN to left; all within wreath. Duyrat 4189–94 (obv. die D89); HGC 10, 72; DCA2 631; Dow, ACTTB, p. 191 corr. (date; this coin). Lightly toned, deposits, extensive cleaning scratches, edge filed and marked from prior bezel. VF.
