PHOENICIA, Arados. Circa 138/7-44/3 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 15.27 g, 12h). Dated CY 199 (61/0 BC). Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche right / Nike standing left, holding aphlaston and palm frond; Θ(koppa)P (date), Phoenician Q, and AN to left; all within wreath. Duyrat 4189–94 (obv. die D89); HGC 10, 72; DCA2 631; Dow, ACTTB, p. 58 (this coin). Lightly toned, flan crack, struck with somewhat worn obverse die. Near EF.
