PHOENICIA, Arados. Circa 138/7-44/3 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 14.94 g, 12h). Dated CY 198 (62/1 BC). Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Tyche right / Nike standing left, holding aphlaston and palm frond; H(koppa)P (date), Phoenician B, and AN to left; all within wreath. Duyrat 4091–7 (obv. die D89); HGC 10, 72; DCA2 631; Dow, ACTTB, p. 58 (this coin). Lightly toned. Near EF.
