IONIA, Miletos. Late 6th-early 5th century BC. AR Twelfth Stater (9mm, 1.08 g). Forepart of lion right, head reverted / Stellate design within incuse square with one side contoured in the shape of an M. SNG Ashmolean 949; SNG Kayhan 1381. Lightly toned, compact flan, slightly off center on obverse. Good VF.
