Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Nude Apollo standing facing, head right, holding plectrum and resting hand on lyre which rests on serpent-entwined tripod to right. Arslan, Coins –; RPC IV.3 Online 5856; SNG BN –; SNG von Aulock 6143. Green patina with light earthen highlights, minor roughness, edge split. VF. Extremely rare, only two recorded in RPC. |
