MACEDON, Amphipolis. Circa 187-168/7 BC. Æ (30mm, 14.39 g, 12h). Draped bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder; monogram to upper left and lower right / Artemis Tauropolos, holding billowing veil and with head right, seated facing on bull leaping right. Touratsoglou, Macedonia 16; HGC 3, –; SNG ANS 150 var. (monograms; same rev. die); Dow, ACTTB, p. 207 (this coin). Earthen dark green-brown patina, flan preparation marks. VF.
