Cista mystica within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; civic monogram to left; to right, horizontally oriented owl standing left on grape bunch. Kleiner & Noe –; CN Online Type –; CNG 58, lot 544 (same obv. die); CNG 57, lot 390 (same obv. die). Lightly toned, underlying luster. VF. Very rare, only two in CoinArchives (the CNG coins referenced above). |
