CARTHAGE, Second Punic War. Circa 215-201 BC. Æ Shekel (24mm, 7.74 g, 12h). Carthage mint. Wreathed head of Tanit left / Horse standing right, head left; palmette standard(?) in background to left, Punic gimel to right. CNP 232d; MAA 88o; SNG Copenhagen (Africa) 317–8 var. (no control marks). Dark green-brown patina with some deposits and encrustation. Good VF.
