CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 315 BC. Fourrée Nomos (21mm, 6.58 g, 8h). Nude youth, holding rein and crowning horse he rides right; ΣA below / Phalanthos, nude, holding filleted palm frond, riding dolphin left; helmet to right, ΣYM below. Fischer-Bossert N111c = Vlasto 653 (this coin); cf. HN Italy 941 (for prototype). Toned, some scratches, breaks in plating and test punch on reverse exposing core. Near VF.
