Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Hadrian standing left, holding scepter, greeted by Alexandria, clad in elephant’s skin headdress, chiton, and peplos, holding two grain ears and kissing emperor’s extended right hand; L IE (date) across lower field. Köln 1035; Dattari (Savio) 7545 = RPC III 5778.16 = Figari & Mosconi 289 (this coin); K&G 32.508; Emmett 964.15. Dark brown patina, metal flaws, minor spots of verdigris. VF.
