Laureate heroic bust right, seen from the front, aegis on left shoulder / Zeus, holding thunderbolt, reclining left on the wings of an eagle, standing facing, head left, with wings displayed; L Iϛ (date) across field. Köln 628; Dattari (Savio) 1078; K&G 27.504; RPC III 4753.3; Emmett 616.16 (R2). Red-brown patina, slight roughness, short flan crack, smoothing. VF. Rare.
