PHOENICIA, Tyre. Valerian I. AD 253-260. Æ (29mm, 11.07 g, 6h). Laureate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Dido (or Tyche?) standing right, both arms uplifted toward distyle shrine of Astarte to upper right, seen in perspective; to lower right, murex shell above lighted altar. RPC X Online 62929; Rouvier 2504. Dark brown surfaces, light porosity, flan preparation marks. Near VF. Extremely rare, only two recorded in RPC.

Rouvier identifies the reverse figure as Dido, RPC calls her Tyche.
