PHOENICIA, Tyre. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ (31mm, 23.55 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Astarte-Tyche standing facing, wearing turreted crown, extending her right hand to trophy to left, and holding transverse scepter; at her feet to left, Marsyas standing right, carrying wineskin over his shoulder with his hands raised; at her feet to right, murex shell; to right, Nike standing left on short column, crowning her with a wreath. RPC V.3 Online 69690 (this coin cited); Rouvier 2311; Dow, ACTTB, p. 54 (this coin) . Brown patina with green highlights, minor roughness. VF. Very rare, only three recorded in RPC.
