COMMONWEALTH. 1649-1660. AR Halfgroat (17mm, 1.03 g, 4h). Tower (London) mint. Coat-of-arms within wreath / Two coats-of-arms; ·II· (mark of value) above; all within wreath. Bull 224; ESC 2160; North 2728; SCBC 3221 (this coin illustrated in earlier editions). Iridescent toning with underlying luster, very slight double strike. EF. A wonderful example and the finest of the type this cataloger has handled.
