SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ Octassarion (32mm, 19.50 g, 1h). Laureate head right / Tyche, turreted and veiled, seated left on rocky outcropping, holding grain ears; above, ram leaping left; crescent to upper left, Δ-Є flanking Tyche; at feet, half-length figure of river-god Orontes swimming left. McAlee 802(b)/2 = RPC VI Online 8024.2 = Dow, ACTTB, p. 215 (this coin). Brown patina, flan preparation marks, spot of verdigris. VF. Rare.
