Argaeus surmounted by male figure holding scepter and globe; ЄT•IΓ• (date) in exergue. Ganschow, Münzen 472 var. (obv. legend); RPC V.3 Online 66472 var. (same); Sydenham, Caesarea –. Lightly toned with hints of iridescence, slight porosity. EF. Struck from fresh dies. Extremely rare and unpublished variety; Ganschow and RPC record only one tridrachm of Julia Domna from year 13, with a shorter obverse legend. |
