KINGS of MAURETANIA. Juba II. 25 BC-AD 24. AR Denarius (16mm, 3.11 g, 6h). Caesarea mint. Diademed head right, draped on far shoulder / Draped bust of Africa right, wearing elephant skin, drapery around neck; two spears to left, grain ear to right. Mazard 131 corr. (no drapery on Juba not noted, but same dies as illustration); MAA 73; SNG Copenhagen –. Attractive old collection tone, a little off center. EF.
