SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos Hierax. Circa 242-227 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 17.07 g, 1h). Alexandreia Troas mint. Diademed and winged head right / Apollo, testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; two monograms to outer left; in exergue, horse grazing left. SC 875.5; Ellis-Evans, Alexandreia, dies O2/R9, 1 = Pitchfork 62 (this coin); WSM 1572δ = ANS inv. 1944.100.78286 (same dies); HGC 9, 399g. Iridescent tone, some die wear on obverse, minor die shift on reverse. Good VF.
