SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos II Theos. 261-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 16.40 g, 12h). Phokaia mint. Diademed head of Antiochos I right / Herakles seated left on rock draped with lion skin, placing right hand on club set on ground to left, left hand on rock; no control marks. SC 510.2; HGC 9, 241d; Pitchfork 57 (this coin). Deeply toned, with some iridescence, minor marks and light scuffs. Near VF. Very rare.
