SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. Second satrapy and kingship, 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 16.87 g, 5h). Susa mint. Struck circa 300-295 BC. Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / Nike standing right, placing wreath on trophy to right; H to lower left, AX in lower middle field. SC 173.12; ESMS Tr.77–8 var. (A53/P– [unlisted rev. die]); HGC 9, 20; Westmoreland 37 (this coin). Toned, light roughness, Aramaic graffiti in field on obverse. VF.
