Galerius. As Caesar, AD 293-305. Æ Follis (28.5mm, 10.86 g, 8h). Londinium (London) mint. Struck circa AD 295-296. Laureate head right / Genius standing left, holding patera and cornucopia; LON. RIC VI –; RML 10 (same dies as illustrated example); C&T 1.01.009 and p. 320, fn. 65 (same dies as illustrated example – this coin cited). Dark brown-green patina and toned partial silvering. Near EF. Extremely rare. One of four known. An outstanding example of this incredible difficult issue. See p. 320 of C&T for the corpus of this issue.
