Aphrodite, holding phiale and lotus, seated right; below, sphinx seated right / Helmeted and bearded male head (Ares?) left. Casabonne Series 5; Moysey p. 13 and pl. 2, 23 = Lederer Group IV, 20 = SNG BN 23 (same obv. die); SNG von Aulock 5743 (this coin). Old cabinet tone, off center, slight roughness, minor marks. Near VF. Extremely rare.
