Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear diagonally in background; monogram to inner left, KAΛ on throne; in exergue, ornate trident left. Callataÿ p. 139, dies D6/R1; AMNG I 258; HGC 3, 1824. Underlying luster, some minor die rust on obverse. Good VF. |
