Wreathed head of Persephone left / Ajax, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, holding sword and shield decorated with griffin, advancing right on rocks; below, broken spear and grape bunch. H&D Group 15, 128 (O20A/R41); BCD Lokris 59 (same dies); HGC 4, 990; SNG Copenhagen 45 (same dies); De Luynes 1955 (same dies); McClean 5431–2 (same dies). Toned, rough and granular surfaces, scratches and marks. VF. Well centered.
