Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (20.5mm, 4.16 g, 7h). ‘C’ mint. Struck circa AD 291-293. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Providentia standing left, holding wand over globe set at feet to left and cornucopia; S|P//C. RIC V.5 3025; S 13679 (this coin illustrated). Dark green patina. EF. Very rare. Of neat and fine style.
