Carausius. Romano-British Emperor, AD 286-293. Antoninianus (22.5mm, 4.18 g, 7h). ‘C’ mint. Struck circa AD 287-290. IMP C M CARAVSIVS P F AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / LAET IT • AVG, Laetitia standing left, holding wreath and anchor set on ground to right; C. RIC V.5 – but cf. 2390 (for most similar). Dark brown-green patina with some trace verdigris, reverse die shift. EF. Unique. Unpublished as recently as RIC V.5 (2025).
