Maximianus. First reign, AD 286-305. Æ Follis (27mm, 11.49 g, 12h). Alexandria mint, 4th officina. Struck circa AD 304-305. IMP C M A MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, laureate head right / HERCVLI VICTORI, Hercules, laureate and nude but for lion’s skin draped over left arm, standing facing, head right, resting right hand on club set on the ground to right and holding the apples of Hesperides in left hand; Δ/S|P//ALE. RIC VI 38; Dharmadhikari 20; S 13284 (this coin illustrated). Toned complete silvering with some trace deposits, slightly off center. Superb EF.
