Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ As (27mm, 12.24 g, 5h). Rome mint. Struck AD 190. Laureate head right / Apollo standing right, legs, crossed, arm on top of his head, leaning on column to right. RIC III 569; MIR 18, 794-9/30; S 5854 (this coin illustrated). Beautiful dark green patina, minor earthen deposits. Good VF. Finer than any in CoinArchives. Very rare in this condition.
