Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; ΞΔ(?) monogram to inner left, ΔΩ on throne. Thompson –; Müller –; cf. HGC 3, 1750 (for type); Meydancikkale 2723 (same dies). Toned, remnants of find patina, some die wear, a few marks. Good Fine. Rare. |
