Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; K below / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; crescent to outer left, cult image to inner left, monogram in exergue. Arnold-Biucchi, Pergamene – (O8/R– [obv. die unlisted for issue, unlisted rev. die]); Thompson 222; Müller 293 var. (position of crescent); HGC 3, 1750m; Hess-Leu 49, lot 101 (same dies). Toned, a few scuffs and marks on obverse, some cleaning scratches on reverse. Good VF. Fine style. |
