Lucius Verus. AD 161-169. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.21 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, AD 163. Bare head right / ΛRMEN in exergue, Armenia seated left on ground in attitude of mourning; shield and vexillum to left, bow and quiver to right. RIC III 501 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 62-14/10; RSC 6. Attractively toned, underlying luster, hairline flan crack. Superb EF.
