Divus Antoninus Pius. Died AD 161. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.35 g, 5h). Commemorative issue. Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, AD 162. Bareheaded bust right, slight drapery / DIVO PIO, column on low base surmounted by statue of Divus Antoninus Pius standing slightly left, holding scepter; all surrounded by trellis. RIC III 440 (Aurelius); MIR 18, 46-4/12 (Aurelius); RSC 353; Elkins, Monuments Figure 135 (for rev. type); S 5195 (this coin illustrated). EF. Well centered and struck on a round flan.
