THRACE, Abdera. Circa 475-450 BC. AR Drachm (16.5mm, 3.41 g). Deo–, magistrate. Griffin seated left, raising right forepaw; ΔEO to left / Quadripartite incuse square. May, Abdera, Period III, 96 (A82/P77); CN Online Type 4647; HGC 2, 1144. Lightly toned, traces of horn silver, slight roughness, small lamination on obverse. Good VF.
