LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 330-290 BC. AR Nomos (22mm, 7.29 g, 9h). Wreathed head of Demeter left / Barley ear with leaf to left; tongs above leaf, AΘA below. Johnston Class C, 4.4 (same dies); HN Italy 1583; BMC 106 (same dies). Old cabinet tone, flan crack, minor marks, roughness and delaminations on reverse. Good VF.
