Warrior, holding shield and two spears, preparing to cast a third, on horseback right; ΔAI below / Phalanthos, holding trident over shoulder and shield [decorated with hippocamp], riding dolphin left; ΦI to left, murex shell below. Fischer-Bossert Group 77, 1001 (V387/R771); Vlasto 594–6; HN Italy 935; SNG ANS 991 (same dies); BMC 246 (same dies); Hunterian 57 (same dies). Deep iridescent tone, scratches and marks, area of flat strike, slightly off center on reverse. VF.
