KINGS of PERSIS. Vādfradād (Autophradates) I. 3rd century BC. AR Hemidrachm (14.5mm, 1.68 g, 2h). Head right, with mustache and earring, wearing kyrbasia / Fire temple of Ahura-Mazda; to left, Ardaxšir standing right; standard to right; prs in Aramaic in inner right field. Cf.. van't Haaff, Persis, Type 527/531a ([drachm] for type). Iridescent toning, struck with heavily rusted dies. VF. Extremely rare.
