Diademed head of Antiochos I right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY, Apollo Delphios, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; two monograms in exergue. SC 857 var. (monograms, but same obv. die as illustration); CSE 675 var. (same; same obv. die); HGC 9, 399d. Toned, light scratches and scrapes under tone, light die rust on obverse. Good VF. Unpublished variety of a very rare issue. |
