Figure wearing Persian dress seated right, holding inspecting string of bow hanging below / Persian hero standing right, fighting lion(?) on its hind legs standing left. Cf. Meshorer & Qedar 4–5 (for obv. type), 56 (for rev. type); cf. Sofaer 96–8 (for obv. type), 134 (for rev. type). Find patina, some roughness. Near VF. Extremely rare.
