CILICIA, Uncertain. 4th century BC. AR Forty-eighth Stater – Tetartemorion (6mm, 0.14 g, 3h). Bearded head of Baal(?) right / Crowned and bearded head of male (Ahuramzda?) right. Nomos Obolos 21, lot 525; otherwise, unpublished in the standard references. Find patina, deposit on edge, slightly off center. VF. Extremely rare.

While this particular issue is unpublished, it likely is a fraction from the Baal-Ahuramazda series struck at a variety of mints in Cilicia that was the subject of studies by Brindley (NC 1993) and Shannahan (NC 2018). Brindley recorded a few fractions for the series, but none of this denomination.

Closing Date and Time: 17 December 2025 at 11:06:00 ET.

All winning bids are subject to a 20% buyer’s fee.
