Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder / Apollo Delphios standing left, left elbow resting on tall tripod behind, holding in right hand a branch tied with fillet; ΠAYΣANIAΣ ΠAYΣANIOY to left, MAΓNHTΩN to right, meander pattern below; all within laurel wreath. Ellis-Evans, Wreathed, dies 9/PP21; Jones dies 8/– (unlisted rev. die); Jameson 1504 (same obv. die); Pitchfork 28 (this coin). Attractively toned over lustrous surfaces, some hairlines under tone.
