Helmeted head of Athena Parthenos right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ monograms flanking; to left, term of Hermes standing facing, holding kerykeion; [letter on amphora]; all within wreath. Cf. Thompson 92a–b (same obv. die); HGC 4, 1602. Toned, broken and repaired, double struck, areas of roughness, scuff at edge on obverse. VF. |
