ATTICA, Athens. Circa 353-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm (20.5mm, 17.07 g, 8h). Helmeted head of Athena right, with profile eye and pi-style palmette / Owl standing right, head facing; olive spray and crescent to left. Bingen Pi Group III; Kroll –; HGC 4, 1599. Remnants of find patina, some horn silver, light scratches on obverse, some granularity and small graffito on reverse. Good VF. |
