KINGS of PAEONIA. Patraos. Circa 335-315 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 12.60 g, 12h). Astibos or Damastion mint. Laureate head of Apollo right / Warrior on horse rearing right, thrusting spear at enemy below who defends with shield; monogram behind horse’s rear legs. Paeonian Hoard II 176 (this coin, illustrated); HGC 3, 148 corr. (some with control marks). Lightly toned, underlying luster, slightly off center, thin die break on reverse. Good VF.
