IMP CAE L SEP SE V PERT AVG COS I, laureate head right / LIBERA L AVG, Liberalitas seated left, holding abacus and cornucopia. RIC IV – (but cf. 402 for issue with COS II); BMCRE – (cf. 376, same); RSC – (cf. 287b, same. Toned, underlying luster, minor porosity and deposits. VF.

Many COS I denarii of this mint are in fact COS II issues, with the second I off the flan or blending into the truncation of the bust. This example quite clearly reads COS I.
